Rita Lagree
President - Abovo Event Planning Inc.
Throughout her career, Rita developed strong senior management and customer service skills working with large national corporations. Based on this foundation of experience, she launched ABOVO Decorating & Event Planning in l999 with her daughter Nicole. As an event planner, Rita is dedicated to making every occasion a successful and memorable event organizing weddings, corporate and community functions as well as trade and consumer shows. Rita also works with companies in special event venue marketing. In 2006 Rita launched "Stepping Up Events" an educational & inspirational forum for women who have experienced unexpected transitions and trauma in their lives. Rita serves on several Boards of Directors and networking groups in York and Simcoe regions and volunteers with non-profit and charitable organizations. Her "motto" is treat people the way you would like to be treated".
